Bowie:

What?? I was talking about filing a complaint with the SEC, NOT filing a lawsuit. And Amicus briefs are for an Appellate Court.

1st|The majority of Amicus Briefs are filed in federal and state appellate courts, but filing in a federal district court or state trial court is at the discretion of the presiding judge.

2nd:The term Complaint" is bandied about improperly throughout iHub. Tips, complaints, referrals, and concerns are not Complaints in the legal sense. I.e., ABC v. XYZ where ABC is the Complainant, and has filed a Complaint in an appropriate Court. It is however, the first step of possibly several, which can lead to recommendation of criminal charges being initiated by the DOJ.
